At Club Tranmere we have a variety of options to play bowls.
Entry level is very social – no member fees – no uniforms required – we supply the bowls for you to play with.
Progress to play Night Owls on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer months which is a little more competitive but great fun.
Next is to become a member to join the Club and play competitive Pennant bowls.
TENNIS
We are always looking for new Tennis players to come to Club Tranmere and play on some of the best grass courts in Adelaide. We have many teams in the Saturday Men’s competition, including four of them in the 1st Division. On Thursdays we have five women’s teams in competition. Throughout the summer months we also run our own women’s social competition on Tuesdays, that is open for members and visitors to enter.
VENUE HIRE INFORMATION
Club Tranmere is available for hire for all your “special occasion” celebrations as well as corporate or work function.
A great venue to give your business employees time out together socially. Play a game of bowls, tennis or both with your work mates. We will organise the event for you.
We can cater for up to 120 guests with a fully equipped modern kitchen with turbo ovens, dish washer, crockery and assorted cooking utensils also a modern attractive bar with a good selection of popular wines, beers and assorted drinks.

CLUB TRANMERE – Our Foundation Day was on the 31 January 1925, as the Tranmere Bowling, Tennis and Croquet Club.
We cater for bowlers and tennis players of all standards and ages. Our members and visitors enjoy some of the best competition and social playing facilities in South Australia.
